A preocupação com outros aspectos do email marketing como a análise das campanhas, negligencia um factor fundamental: o feedback dos clientes.


Email marketers must engage with consumers in order to enhance the effectiveness of their campaigns, it has been suggested. 
In a blog for Media Post, industry commentator Ryan Deutsch reported from a social media summit in the US where a wide range of marketing-related topics were discussed, including the benefits of listening to consumer feedback.

He revealed that one of the major roundtable discussions at the conference had focussed on the notion of "letting the customer lead".

A preoccupation with data and analytics has led some marketers to ignore the opinions offered by customers, Mr Deutsch noted.

For brands to improve in this area, the expert suggested that brands should assess the thoughts and desires of consumers by participating in conversations with them via channels such as social media.

Industry commentator Kevin Mackin said in a recent MarketingMag.com.au blog that thorough data analysis was crucial for marketers.
